Tim Lukas Heller is a passionate naturalist, evolutionary biologist and wildlife photographer driven by a deep curiosity about the diversity of life on Earth. With a background in herpetology and a master’s degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics, he has extensive knowledge of reptile and spider diversity. He joined on adventurous scientific expeditions that span from tropical rainforests to the remote islands of the Indian Ocean, immersing himself in some of the planet’s most biodiverse and untamed environments.Through his blend of science and photography, Tim seeks to spark curiosity and inspire others to explore and protect our planet’s biodiversity. As the co-founder of Kolibry, he leads a team dedicated to hands-on conservation, research, and education aimed at uniting naturalists, photographers, and scientists to celebrate and safeguard nature.

Elvan Gokgur is a dedicated evolutionary biologist and wildlife photographer with a deep passion for birds and the ecosystems they inhabit. With a master’s degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics, she has spent years in the field observing, documenting, and studying life in its many forms. Through her volunteer work in ornithological research and extensive time in nature, she has gained valuable insight into diverse habitats. Driven by a broad curiosity about biodiversity, she is committed to raising awareness of the world’s fragile ecosystems and the urgent need to protect them. As the co-founder of Kolibry, she applies her scientific expertise to lead bio-monitoring and conservation projects that strengthen the connection between people and the natural world.
